Here we go! This is a new year and a time to get moving on helping more people feel better!
Here is my latest addition to my Hillcrest and LBJ location inside of the Finish Line Therapy Center.
This video shows how we can open the front with the table to ease tightness in the chest and abdominal region. For the back, we can help to create space between the vertebrae – just a little stretch can ease the tension a lot!
—-Note those with fused disks or certain other conditions may not be suited to this type of stretching.
Those of you who know the H.T.E. company and products know that they set the standard on home health care equipment and they created the original Chi Machine.
Many try to copy these products but there is really no comparison for quality.
Infra Red heat penetrates deeply into the tissues, encouraging muscles to relax and improving fluid flows which bring that vital to life element– Oxygen — into the tissues to promote healing.
With adjustable temperatures from room temp to 131 F and a timer up to an hour, the pad is safe and convenient.
It is normally priced at $199.95 plus tax and shipping and is often NOT available except in combination with another HTE product.
Right now- you can get it for $150 plus tax and shipping (If you are in the DFW area and can pick it up from me- I have to order 2 at a time to get this price.)
Please note- This post was originally created in 2010. The phone number below worked at that time. If you are looking to go to the center, please contact someon in your uplline to get that information. I do not have it.
Here is a note from Mary about the Nova Vita Center in Equador— This center is NOT associated with Young Living and appointments must be made through the center- Phone number for the center is given in the message below:
Great News from the NovaVita Research Center in Ecuador
Hello and greetings to all our Young Living family and friends. As you know, Gary and I have been in a whirlwind of activity, research, and travel since convention. I am happy to let you know that things are finally settling down a bit and we are now able to put more focus on some of our work with the NovaVita Research Center.
You should know that as of September 1, 2010, the center is now accepting foreign patients. Because of so much travel and other business commitments, they have not been able to accommodate all those who have wanted to come. But now, everything is back to normal and patients are being received from around the world.
Although Young Living is not associated with NovaVita, we continually receive calls requesting information. The NovaVita Research Center provides diagnostics, counseling, and programs that help participants regain a healthy lifestyle. Many of you may be interested in their new Two-Week Tune-Up Program.
We have received numerous calls about frankincense injections about which we have no information. However, NovaVita is planning to hold a seminar the end of October and will be accepting patients who would like to have this procedure performed and for doctors who would like to learn how to perform this procedure. More detailed information will be coming.
If you have any interest, please contact the center directly at novavitaresearchcenter@ hotmail.com or call: 011- 593-4-288-3460. Young Living is unable to provide any further information, so all inquires must go directly to NovaVita.
Again, our love and best wishes to all of you who are sharing Gary’s vision of wellness, purpose, and abundance. We look forward to seeing many of you at the Dallas Raindrop class and hope to see all of you again at one of the upcoming events in 2011. I know that the Executives are planning some exciting programs and training.
All our best,
Mary and Gary
Video on how frankincense is gathered.
This is an excellent project-
At a meeting of the AARP (American Assoc. of Retired People) they
showed a video that was submitted in a contest by a 20 yr old.
The contest was entitled ‘u @ 50’. This video actually won second place.
When they showed it, everyone in the room was awe-struck and
broke into spontaneous applause.
It is so simple and yet so brilliant.
Take a minute and forty-four seconds to watch it.
I have this friend who is brilliant. She is so brilliant that sometimes Idon’t get it. Her background is varied but focusses mainly on music…. Classical Music.
I never realized (until she started educating me) that music has such a profound impact on our lives. Now that I think about it, that makes total sense. Since our lives and the world are energetic and made up basically of electrons acting at varying frequencies, it makes total sense that the frequencies of the sounds we listen to would impact our health, our learning, and our mood.
Classical music has been shown to ease moods, increase intelligence, calm overactivity, and increase health. On the other hand, hard core acid rock has been shown to make mice into murdering cannibals— really!
Cynthia Wunch is my friend’s name and to learn more about the scientific research on music that she reviews and her practical applications to our lives and health, look here. Cynthia Wunch- The Unlikely Entrepreneur
There are some great articles in there about something so basic as sound that impacts us profoundly – yet we fail to pay attention.
A note about Cynthia — Cynthia Wunsch provides piano and voice lessons in the North Dallas area and Plano. HER style of piano lessons gets you started with basic classical pieces rather than those booring tortuous scales… you will be rewarded quicker and retain what you learn. http://www.wikyblog.com/CynthiaWunsch/
Try this teaching method that Cynthia brings us from the music conservatories of Europe. You will be glad that this is not the ordinary approach to learning music.

Fall is a time of year when sinus-y stuff starts to happen.
Many people attribute sinus problems to the spring, but fall is also a major time of difficulty for sinus sufferers.
Here are some reasons why:
–Mold produced by leaf decay
–Potent weed allergens
–Decay from bug death
–Heating systems coming on
–Less fresh air in households
–Cooler weather makes us crave sweets and carbs
(eating them can affect our sinuses too)
It is true that our external environment has a huge role to play in attributing to sinus
problems, but our internal environment (inside our bodies) has more of an influence on sinus
conditions than the outside of our body.
If our internal environment is in “good shape”, then it can help combat what we are exposed
What constitutes “good shape”?
–Balanced ecology in the gut (decent population of good bacteria with little yeast overgrowth)
–More alkaline and less acid (eating veggies and fruits and not sugar, caffeine, white flour)
–Well oxygenated (daily exercise)
–Well cleansed (bowels moving)
Why is balanced ecology in the gut such an important factor as it relates to sinus health?
The entire alimentary canal (the gastrointestinal system starting with the mouth and ending with the
anus) is made up of mucous membrane. We often call the abdominal portion of the gastrointestinal system
When the gut has a good ecological terrain of balanced flora it can influence the other
areas of the body that have the same mucous membrane tissue.
Think about where else mucous membrane is in the body:
–windpipe and lungs
These areas are often affected by candida or yeast overgrowth which can lead to symptoms which are often called ‘infections’ (many times they are infections, but many times they are just an overgrowth of yeast).
In the years of my practice I saw many people with sinus conditions.
This condition was often accompanied by other problems in the body – such as allergies, skin disorders, frequent headaches, depression, stomach problems, and colon issues to name a few.
Many of these people loved and often ate these foods:
–Cheeses, especially aged
–Bread made with yeast
–Food with preservatives (packaged food)
–Cakes, pastries, cookies
–Acid forming beverages: coffee, tea, soda
And very often these folks were constipated.
Along with eating an balanced alkaline diet, here are two very effective ways to deal with sinus
Cleansing the colon can keep the overgrowth of candida at bay.
Sinus conditions clear up when the colon is clear.
As a former Wellness Center owner I used to observe that when people had colonics with good results, they
almost always simultaneously experienced sinus drainage. Any sinus congestion they had before their cleansing often disappeared with the good results of the cleanse.
Nutritional products that you can use at home for cleansing, and even foods that help cleanse the body can offer the same results as it relates to sinuses.
The rest of this article has been edited to eliminate reference to essential oils for health purposes because there are not enough double blind tests done by researchers to Prove the effectiveness of substances that have been used for centuries.
