Taking a break from Teaching of the CARE program-

Teena is moving through the process established by the State of Texas to garner the registrations and approvals needed in order to provide the Raindrop Training that we love while at the same time meeting ALL the stipulations of the law.

At this point, she has approval to teach NON- technique classes and the Hands-on will be coming shortly.

This includes the

  • Chemistry of Essential oils- a look at the molecules and the power of essential oils as well as learning about the workings of the elements shown on the Periodic Chart.  This class (or class series) will look at the concepts of toxicities, substitutions among elements, and understanding the cellular receptor sites to give the student a greater appreciation of the chemical reactions that provide our functioning bodies.
  • Historic Perspective of oils-  this will be a supercharged version of the Bible Oils with deeper historic content as well as a geographic and economic view of the oils and civilization.
  • I am in a collaborative effort with a friend whose background in neurology and passion for music will combine with my background and passion to yield a class on the neurological impact of music in massage.   The student will learn the aspects of music that actually aid relaxation and emotional balance and how such music can help you maximize the benefits of your massage leading to increased client satisfaction.

FAR InfraRed Heating Pad – Available through May 30

The Infra Red Heat of this heating pad is a very harmonic and gentle type of heat. This is much different from a typical heating pad which heats only the surface levels of the skin.

Temperature setting rages from room temperature to 131 degrees Fahrenheit.

Timer may be set from 15 minutes to 1 hour.

Research shows that the gentle and harmonic heat waves of FAR INfraRed send heat deeper and encourages expansion of cappillaries to encourage greater circulatory flow and greater oxygen availability.

I personally  like to have 2- so that I can lay my client’s full body on them… OR I can use one on the front and one on the back simultaneously (especially for congestion in lungs.)

Several Intensives have been scheduled in North Dallas, TX  to meet the needs of your busy life.    

The Intensives all include the full 25 hours of the CARE program:

  • Chemistry of Essential Oils- 6 hours total (2 segments, 3 hours each)
  • Healing Oils of the Bible- 2 hours
  • VitaFlex hand Techniques – 4 hours (pre req for Raindrop)
  • Raindrop Technique – 8 hours (2 segments, 4 hours each)
  • Emotional Release with Essential Oils- 5 hours

This is a great set of classes for health care workers or home caregivers who want to learn more about how the oils work and the science and history behind them.

The CARE program is approved by NCBTMB and IACET for use as continuing education for massage therapists and many other health care professions.  (IACET attendees will receive CARE certificates AND a small fee is charged for the additional set of IACET certificates.)

You will also learn how to become a Certified Raindrop Practitioner and how, with the License Spiritual Healer designation you may begin a practice of Raindrop.

Dallas evening CARE Seminar April 26,27,28

Special scheduling for those who want to minimize time away from office- an evening session of the CARE hands-on classes is offered on April 26-28.

Classes begin at 5:00 and 5:30 and end at 9:30 and 10:00 pm.

This Seminar will include VitaFlex- hand techniques from Tibet to stimulate communication in the body for certain organs and systems. – (VitaFlex is a pre-requisite to Raindrop.)

The next 2 evenings are the Raindrop Technique-

  • Session 1 on the 27th, is lecture/discussion, demonstration and one round of students practicing Raindrop on each other.
  • Session 2- April 28th is 2 sets of student Raindrop technique and discussion.
  • This assures that each student witnesses the technique AND gets to receive a Raindrop session as well as help to deliver a Raindrop twice.
  • Thus, the hand techniques and positioning is reinforced and learning is increased.

For those interested in becoming Certified Raindrop Practitioner, this session will allow you to begin the next step of requirements for CRP, which includes practicing these techniques on others.

This Seminar is 12 hours of the CARE program.  CARE and its Instructors are approved providers of continuing education for NCBTMB and IACET.

The remaining courses of the CARE 25 Hour program will be offered during the May 13-15 Intensive also here in Dallas.

NOTE-  To save some money- you may preregister for the full intensive and come to the April evening sessions, picking up the other classes at a later date.

Announcing the CARE Intensive presented in Dallas on March 25-27.

All 25 hours of fabulous CARE materials and hands on training in VitaFlex and Raindrop Technique will be presented by Teena Johnson, LMT, and CCI.

Program includes:

Chemistry of essential oils– 6 hours of learning about the wondrous molecules that comprise essential oils and what they are known to do-  smelling the oils to reinforce your confidence and understanding

Healing Oils of the Bible-  An historic perspective of the use of essential oils during the Biblical era using scriptural reference to understand the ancient ways that are still available to us.

Vita Flex- hands of techniques to increase energetic communication throughout the body-  techniques brought from Tibet by Stanley Burroughs that are also used in Raindrop technique.

Raindrop Technique-  8 hours of demonstration, discussion and hands on practice of Raindrop Technique.  Each participant will get a Raindrop and will assist in giving 2.

Emotional Release with essential oils-  Through the centuries essential oils have been used in spiritual practice.  We now know that spiritual health and physical health go hand in hand.  The oils are used to release areas of emotional stuckness and negativity that may be holding  you from being your best.  We discover Self release work and witness a facilitated release session.

These classes are approved as 25 hours of continuing education by National certification Board for Therapeutic Massage and Bodywork and by the International Association for Continuing Education and Training.  If you are a health professional- check to see if you may use these hours to fulfill your annual continuing education requirements-  it may be a turning point for your practice!

For non-professionals interested in becoming a Certified Raindrop Practitioner and Licensed Spiritual Healer, learn the steps involved to complete the required programs and practice Raindrop yourself.

The February 4-6 Intensive has been re-scheduled to Feb 25-27.  (I totally blanked out about the Superbowl scheduled for that weekend! Sheeshe! )
