Convention is such a great experience, the opportunity to be with others interested in the healing arts- of all sorts and the new research that is disseminated makes the trip an absolute must.

There was a lot of information provided so this blog will take a bit of time to get it all to you!

New oils from Ecuador – New Products – New protocols being used in Ecuador – New Masters Degree from Guayaquil Metropolitan University – Sharing Techniques – Nursing Home Test Results –

New Oils from Ecuador-

Gary Young has purchased several thousand acres of land in Ecuador and is growing and distilling plants. By these farming methods, the land that would have been green and growing only 3 or 4 months of the years is actively green and growing all year round.

Young Living is the first to bring a gas spectrometer to Ecuador for private analysis of the crops (the constituent levels are always tested prior to harvest to assure high quality… after all once you cut the plant down, there is no more oil production going on.)

New Oils discoveries include:

Cedron – Also known as lippi citradora which was used in the 194o’s by Jean Valnet in his research in treating Hodgkin’s Lymphoma with a 98% success rate. This oil is not available to us yet. It is balancing to the hormones – both male and female, it regulates thyroid function, is autoblastic (meaning anti-tumoral) it is a blood purifier and very strong support for the immune and endocrine systems. This will be a biggie for just about all degenerative and auto-immune dis-eases.

Copal- A very powerful anti-inflammatory agent. Now in use in our new product- “Deep Relief” roll on essential oil applicator.

Durado Azul- Gary also called this the “Golden Weed” as it matures the edge of the leaves turn blue. High in compounds that balance hormones and allow reduction in use of steroid drugs within patients on steroids when they come into the clinic.

Blue Eucalyptus- Normally we do not use eucalyptus to go after viruses, we use Eucalyptus globules for bacteria. BUT this one does go after viruses since it is very high in eucalyptol at about 56%. Eucalyptus Blue also stimulates the hypothalamus and the cascade of neurotransmitters and hormones.

Amazing New Protocol in use! - The Young Living essential oils are so pure and so powerful, that Dr. Young is now doing something never really done before. He has modified IV solutions to allow them to be used as a carrier for essential oils used in the drip. In this way, several patients have been able to emerge from a virtual death sentence due to Toxic Mold, cancer, and other infections.

Masters Degree in Applied Investigative Sciences in Application of Essential Oils from Metropolitan University of Guayaquil, Ecuador.- Dr. Young has prepared both a Masters and ungergraduate programs of study to be delivered in conjunction with theUniversity.  The program will include intensive class room studies as well as hands on time at the clinic and at the farm to learn about oils, growing, distillation and use literally from the ground up!

SHARING TECHNIQUES

Several of the Break Out sessions were about sharing the oils with the intention of helping others.

Vicki Opfer, YL Diamond Distributor gave a very eloquent account of her sharing experience with tips regarding questions to ask that help people answer their own inquiries.   Vicki has a book and CDs to help us get over our fear  and take a heart centered approach to talking about heath with others.  There are so many resources available for suport.  We need to stop thinking that we need to know everything ourselves.  The new book is called Harmony, Joy & Abundance and is available from E.S.Publishing at www.essentialscience.net

Nursing Home Results.-

A six month cost effective experiment by Nida Gonzales, a registered dietition in New Jersey yielded impressive results.  They simply diffused oils in public areas of the nursing home such as the recreation areas and lounges; peppermint to stimulate mental acuity and uplift spirits, and Lavender to calm and prepare for a good night’s rest.  Within the rooms of patients with behavior issues or toruble with sleeping, lavender or Peace and Calming were diffused.  One of the directors of these homes has already issued a new directive eliminating the standard practice of administering psychotropic drugs!  Patients with bed sores and other health issues were given Ningxia Red.  In one instance, a 90 year old woman with stage 4 bedsores was losing weight, refused treatments, and had developed pnumonia was given 1 oz of Ningxia Red 3 times a day lemongrass was diffused in her room.  Within about 3 weeks, her sores were noticibly healing and within about 2 months they were healed.  A side effect of the diffusing of the oils is that respiratory infections were reduced withn the patient population overall.  This can save nursing home staff a lot of work and families a lot of worry and can improve the quality of life for our aging relatives.

Well- I know there was more discussed- especially the testimonies of patients at the clinic and some special speakers.  But this is all I have time for today!
